John was a good friend to all of us at 4 Henchley Dene, over many years. He was very kind, thoughtful and helpful in many ways, particularly after I was left on my own, after my Elizabeth passed away. John enjoyed long walks in the local countryside and I was delighted to be able to join him on some of them. He was good company, and I will miss him. John always asked after my 2 daughters, Sally and Alison and they join me I remembering a good friend. John Allman, Sally White and Alison Harrison
